Okay so you wanna know what Connecticut people sound like?

Look at American TV shows. A lot of actors use this bland and flat accent. That’s us. It can sound a little odd depending where in CT you come from.
For instance, if you live near the ma boarder, your accent might be mixed with that mas accent. The same with New york, Rhode island…etc.
But I live in the centre of CT so my accent is bland. But here’s the funny thing:
When I went with some students to Germany, our tour guide thought we were from England. Is it because Europeans think that Americans have very distinguished accents? Shruggity shrug.
