This is an OLD one.

back in 2006, I was obsessed with FLCL. I only had volume one of the manga and didn’t even know an anime existed, but it was my favourite.

And my favourite character was Haruko. Because she defied what any kind of ‘girl’ you were led to become during that time. And I wanted to be like her.

I also wanted her to be in every other manga that I owned.

I liked Digi charat, but I hated how Degiko got the spot light so much. So I made an ‘oc’, who was pretty much Haruko.

Time skip to 2012, where I had my first tablet. (it wasn’t a drawing tablet)

and I enjoyed using their little paint program.

And I changed ‘Haruko’. A lot.

And then in 2014, I re-drew Agran to make her even more original and less…rainbow-y.

I had to sketch her out now because I can’t take good notebook pictures.
