There have been several counts of people being robbed at gunpoint at Poke’stops already. The robbers have been using the Lure Module items to attrack other players to the Poke’stops in more secluded and “ out of the way ” areas

Be safe fellow trainers and stay away from Modules in low populated areas, and never Poke’venture alone !!

The robbery was real. Make sure that when you go out to catch Pokemon, try to be with a small group of people you trust. Don’t let people like that ruin the Pokemon experience for us. BE SAFE.

also keep an eye on the younger or underage kids out by suspicious pokestops, especially if there aren’t that many adults around in proportion. since even really tiny kids have smartphones these days pedophiles and creeps could abuse the lure modules, so please watch out for yourselves and other kids
