I have a really bad problem with processing what people are saying. Like someone will say something, but its like they’re speaking a different language for like 10 sec and then what they said processes.
Or, i have to ask them what they said 5 times because it will NOT sink in.
Is that part lf my ADHD?Answer
Yes actually it is! When what they say sinks in later, it’s just because your brain needs a little time to focus on the information that has just been brought to you. And if you need to ask multiple times, it’s the same thing, or your brain needs time, or maybe there’s too much background noise and your brain is having a hard time processing the words, or your thoughts are racing but that comes back to focus. But yes that’s typical for ADHD.
( but that can also be APD ( auditory processing disorder ) which a lot of people with ADHD also have, it is a glitch in the brain’s ability to filter and process sounds and words )
Hope that answered your question.
