She huffed a little. Okay, so she wasn’t a perfect being. Sometimes she goes and destroys things by accident. Trees on purpose, but that’s another story.
“I swear on my own family that I will not ruin anything.” She gave a short nod.
When the human closed their eyes, the elf girl surrounded her hands in a small web of blue light.
She blew it away and placed a tiny box into their hands. It was wrapped in blue and orange paper, and had a pink ribbon on top.
“Hehe, go on and open them.” She said, rocking on her heels excitedly.
“Mhm.” They obviously weren’t buying it, it may take a long while for them to trust and believe them, they waited for whatever this elf person was gonna give them, when Blinx felt the box in their hands, the opened their eyes and blinked for a moment, the squinted a bit at the box and the the girl before opening it.
The gift was a single pink carnation.
Karein was actually very thankful for the human’s help, even with the annoyed feeling.
“I really hope you like it! I would have been a goner out there.” She smiled happily.
“Thank you..?” Blinx said, they weren’t to used to gifts, and they weren’t used to flowers especially, they never really saw the point of them as gifts, they were just plucked flowers, and once plucked, they were gonna wilt soon after, its not like flowers could be really used for much.
The pink carnation reminded of them of their friend that was there, Mia, she had a pink flower tattoo on her left arm.
“I hope you like it. You don’t look like a child so I can’t give you anything more. But hey, put it in a vase with others and it will be just as happy and thankful as I!” Katrein smiled once again.
