She looked at the plant in her sleeves, now small and withered. She remembered that she was told to water the plant while he was gone, but baseball was so tentative! She totally forgot about the tiny plant for… two weeks!?
“I-I did! But for a day… whoops..?”
“…….it’s alright.” Kamimatsu sighed and smiled genuinely. He wasn’t really mad, just surprised.
“I’m sorry for raising my voice.”
“It’s okay Kami-kun!” The girl exclaimed hugging him, relieved that he wasn’t mad at her. She then looked at the plant and sighed.
“It’s your favorite, right..?”
“Yes, but plants cannot live forever. I’ll replace it.” He patted her head.
“It’s alright.”
She nuzzled her face on his hand and giggled.
“I can help you choose Kami-kun!”
“That sounds great. I’ll pay for it, though, alright?” He was always like that, never letting anyone pitch in money-wise.
