Kamimatsu runs over to shadow holding a black rectangle box. He looks like he got in a bad fight. “Hey again!”

“Um… hi,” they looked him over, tilting their head to the side. What the hell happened to him? Did he get beaten up by his brothers or something?

“… Watcha got there?”

Shadow was busy inspecting the cookies when he spoke up again. They lifted their head, eyes wide in surprise. What had he said?

“Advice?” they blinked in confusion, “you really want my advice? What about?”

“Yes! My brother…he says he’s sorry and wants to buy me something to make up for the fight earlier…but I’m afraid this might be a trick.” He sighed. “But what if it isn’t? I don’t wish to hurt his feelings.”

“Ehhh…. are you sure you want the advice of a demon in a situation dealing with morality?” they stuffed their hands and the cookies in their hoodie pockets, frowning.

“Cuz me personally, I’d just… tell him off. Tell him that all he ever does is trick me and I’m tired of his shit. Threaten him maybe. Then go, and if it turns out to be a trick, I’d push him down a flight of stairs.”

“I tried that. Today. That’s what got me all these scratches and a black eye.” Kamimatsu actually did threaten him; ‘I will stop treating you like a brother if you continue to treat me like a bag of cash,’

That in mind, he scoffed and turned off his phone.

“I’m going to be selfish and not respond. Do what I want for a change.”

He smiled at Shadow.
