Shadow squirmed a bit in discomfort. Why was he always trying to touch them? To pull them into his arms? Was this some kind of gesture of superiority? Was it because he was taller than them?
“What do you think you’re doing?”
“You’re just so…huggable!” For a lack of a better word. Kamimatsu refused to answer their previous question. No need to get upset or hostile.
“I’m not trying to embarrass you, if that’s what you think.”
It had nothing to do with superiority. Kami was a happy guy, and couldn’t keep his arms off this ‘cute’ creature.
“I’m not…!” they whined in protest, trying to pry themselves away. This was weird! Why did he keep hugging them so much?! They weren’t huggable at all!
“You’re not embarrassing me anyways!” they lied, “s-so there!”
“If it’s not embarrassing, then I’ll remain hugging you.” Kami teased, nuzzling their shoulder gently.
“How can you say for sure that you’re not huggable? Have you ever hugged yourself properly?”
