In a stunning accident my muse has been cloned multiple times! How does your muse react?
“Ah, Kamimatsu. You caught me in a bit of a pickle,” began one Choromatsu. The other spoke up immediately, adjusting his tie. “You see, I may or may not have stepped into a cloning machine…”
“And cloned myself many, many times.” There had to be more than few dozens of Choromatsus speaking, sounding rather eerily. The one in front of Kamimatsu coughed, and he looked sheepish.
“I.. Uh. I have a problem. I have no idea who is the real one in this crowd. Each and every one of us believe we are the real one but… there is only one of us before each cloned version came out. I was wondering… could you pick out the real one?”
Oh Lord. This was something that would always end badly in tv shows.
“Um…well…maybe we can just go with it! After all, it’s my dream to be surrounded by you Choromatsu!” Kamimatsu laughed. Of course it wasn’t that true, but seeing choro’s reaction was funny on it’s own.All of them sputtered, except one in the middle, who shook his head and sighed.
“Excuse me, Kamimatsu! What in the world?” One cried out.
“Did you just sink that low?! I thought better of you!”
“Enough! Kamimatsu has that kink, ew!”
“It’s probably a joke, Kamimatsu is the most innocent out of all of us.”
“True… And he does have a point… More of us around him would be able to do so much more…”
The Choromatsus were starting to discuss with one another what to do, throwing out ideas for effiency. Now they didn’t need to rely on normal people any more!
“Oh… But if the original dies, don’t the rest of the clones die too?”
This sent the whole crowd into a frenzy, one grabbing Kamimatsu by the shoulder. “You have to help us choose! We need to test, check!”
Kamimatsu blinked, looking at the one in the middle.
“Something’s a little different about you.” He didn’t want to just pick him without thinking things through first.
He smiled brightly and gave him a hug.
If he pushed away, then he knew it wasn’t real.
The one in the middle blinked. “And?” He was hugged, and the rest gasped, before breaking out into a chatter.
“He picked that one! Is it the real one?”
“It’s entirely possible! But… Why him? Because he acted differently compared to us?”
“Maybe, because of that. The first one would be irritated?”
The one in the middle merely sighed, patting Kamimatsu on the head. “…Are you done making those jokes? I haven’t had all day, I still have to somehow figure out this mess. Point taken, clones have your memories and feelings, but it feels like having extra brothers.” He pulled out his book, scribbling on it. The other Choromatsus seemed to do the same, only that they, in fact, had no books and ran around looking for papers to write in.
“Though, Kamimatsu. Did you really mean that you want to be surrounded by clones of me? I can save a few, for your… Whatever you want to do with a crowd of me. I’m not sure I want to know. What with the strange kinks after me?” He questioned. Honestly, it just went weirder and weirder down the line. He wondered faintly if Kamimatsu wasn’t as innocent as he seemed.
He chuckled a little. The other Choromatsus were certainly lively.
“Extra brothers means more love to give.” He said happily, grabbing one of the clones and hugging them gently.
“I was mostly joking there, but I wouldn’t mind having more of you. You’re fun to be with!” Kamimatsu meant it sincerely, clapping his hands together.
“Kinks? Umm, I do not have any kinks with you. I’m not sure I understand your question, though.”
That clone gagged and struggled to run, while Choromatsu snorted at his words. “Ridiculous. More love to give? There’s a certain limit.”
He sighed at Kamimatsu’s coment, before thinking for a bit. “…You know. That actually sounds good. Since this entire room is full of someone whose company you enjoy… Why don’t you take care of them? I have no use for so many people, and I don’t trust myself to not argue with myself. So take them, Kamimatsu. Take them away from here, I have work to do.”
“Alright. come on, the rest of you! If Choromatsu-san is busy, then we need to do something fun!” Kamimatsu led the clone out of the room.
“I know exactly what to do! Let’s take a trip to Akihabara! But you all must change so it doesn’t seem weird to others that there’s multiple of you looking too much alike.” Kamimatsu thought some more.
“Aha! First one to get ready to go gets a special prize!”
A game. He was playing a game with them all.
The clone followed Kamimatsu out reluctantly, and they all listened to Kamimatsu. They each burst into a chatter, and of they went, to ransack the closet Choromatsu had.
It wasn’t long before most of them appeared, or well, a few appeared to be in normal clothes. Everyone else had to opt for the cosplays Choromatsu had kept away, be it sailor, police, even one of them was crossdressing.
They all surrounded Kamimatsu, looking disapprovingly at him. One spoke up, “I think we are all that efficient. I’m not sure what special prize there is. Kamimatsu, but if almost all of us made it here at the same time, what are you going to do?”
“I kept time.” Kamimatsu was always sneaky with things like this, that’s why the brothers relied on him for recording conversations or keeping time.
He pointed to the clone wearing the striped green shirt.
“You got here three seconds before the rest. So you come with me.”
He walked into the next room, motioning the clone to follow. That clone looked proud of himself, patting down his clothes and following after Kamimatsu, as the others glared at him and sulked away. That Choromatsu entered the room, looking neat, tidy, and ready to go.
“Well, then, Kamimatsu. What ate we doing today?”
“Well, I have a special mission for you.” Kamimatsu held out a wrapped box. It smelt sweet.
“You have to deliver this to a special person while the others are going on the train. The person would be wearing a blue coat with guppies printed on it. Can I trust you to deliver this secretly?”
It was odd for Kamimatsu to ask for such a secret task, but knowing him, he always had a reason.
