Do people really sip coffee through that plastic cap thing on Starbucks or wherever? Because I genuinely just take it off and drink straight from the cup

I don’t drink coffee but I do drink hot cocoa from the plastic cap. I feel less likely to spill or make a mess with it on.

I feel the complete opposite! I feel like if I drink with the plastic cap on the coffee will just leak through it and make a disaster, not to mention it’s easier to blow off the heat without a plastic cap in the way

makes sense.

But there are some odd people who kinda like the feeling of getting their tongues slightly burnt.

Though if it gets TOO hot, I will take the lid off and set it aside for a few minutes.
