u know what i hate .. when someone pretends to care abt ur special interest when ur getting all excited but they do it in a Super Fake way so it’s really obvious how much they think ur wasting their time & they don’t even try to hide how much they dislike the conversation & it’s so fkn sad bc here i am trying to show someone (more specifically my mom, so it’s not like it’s some stranger) smth that makes me so happy & she’s just like “yeah whatever” and being really passive aggressive abt it but pretending not to be and it’s just like .. wow ok , great i don’t even get enjoyment out of it anymore and now i’m just left feeling like garbage and like my special interest is garbage and just . idk man i feel like there should just be more tact abt this
